| In 2012, the once teeming city of Santa Barbara, California has become desolate and abandoned after a mysterious virus was released into the air and killed most of the humans. Only a few remain as canines of all types gather in the city and learn to fend for themselves. Some have become infected with the virus and are beginning to change.
